My Favorite Things
Often, we want the perfectly posed image where everyone is looking directly at the camera, with a perfect smile, and being perfectly still. And while I do try to ensure clients get some images that fit most or all those criteria, I have realized my favorite images are genuine tender moments that are filled with joy. Example the toddler leaves their perfect pose to run towards my camera and I get an amazing closeup of their face filled with joy and a cute little nose crinkle as they run towards me. Those images feel full of joy, are a little chaotic, and are simply lovely. Those feel like childhood to me. The joy and abandonment with which kids experience the world. So, I promise if you feel like your kids aren’t listening and you won’t get a single image you like I promise I am there working my magic to capture treasured moments you will love of your precious little chaos creators. And if all else fails I’ll work my magic of face swaps behind the scenes to pull together a family picture that looks like everyone has it altogether.
